The countenance of Mt. Fuji transforms richly with the revolution of the seasons. Fuji perching amidst a fantasy realm within the quiet of the morning, a handsomely clad reverse Fuji reflecting in the clear lake water surface, Fuji as the vivid depiction of a poignant landscape... Fuji appears before us with a variety of faces.
Enjoy the form of Fuji as depicted within several superbly beautiful landscape paintings in high vision movie format. |

Fuji: there is no other mountain that has been the subject of so many paintings.
Form, angle, color... Fuji displays as many faces as the number of paintings devoted to it.
In "Painting Fuji," the theme of how artists depict Fuji is taken up from various angles and presented along with interviews of Hiroshi Senju,Tamako Kataoka, and Kouji Kinuya |
