Greeting
This year, the Fujiyama Museum greets its fifth year since its
opening in July 2003. A painting exhibition, which depicts a
diverse cross-section of various seasons and views of Mt Fuji
and also includes some newly acquired works, opened recently.
A great number of visitors have already enjoyed the works on
display. On the occasion of the Museum's fifth anniversary,
and in order to express gratitude for the many visitors who
have supported the Fujiyama Museum over the last 5 years, a
special exhibition will be held, for which around 80 of our
most popular works have been selected, divided between a first
and a second season. The collection is represented by such preeminent
Japanese artists as Okuda Genso's "Fugaku Syuyo (Mt. Fuji on a bright autumn day)",
Yuki Ogura, and Tatsuo Takayama, to name a few. The Fujiyama
Museum invites visitors to enjoy the unique and diverse visions
of Mt. Fuji presented by these accomplished artists. |
